Severo-Kurilskaya Baza Sejnernogo Flota JSC (Russian for Severo-Kurilsk Seiner Fleet Base) is a large city-forming enterprise in Severo-Kurilsk, which takes the share of more than 70% of the products produced by the district's fisheries complex. The history of its establishment goes back to the distant 1945 when the Kuril State Fishery Trust was established (October 10, 1945). The Association included the Kasivobara fish processing plant (Severo-Kurilsk), the legal successor of which is Severo-Kurilskaya Baza Sejnernogo Flota JSC.
